Chapters 1-3

First I just want to say how excited I am do be doing this!! Ok that’s all.

Romans 1
Paul is writing to the church about what God has shared with him. In other word Paul has received some revelation from God; That it is not the law that get’s us to heaven but our Faith in Him. We are never going to be perfect so God sent His son to die now we have Grace.
I really like vs.16 I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, 17 For the Jews first and also for the Greek, for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith as it is written, “the just shall live by faith,”
Paul is declaring he is not ashamed and he will proudly tell everyone about God because it is for Everyone. I want to also have that mentality to go out and share God’s salvation with out hesitation, with out fear.

Vs. 18-32- I believe it is talking about those who know God but don’t live the righteous life. If you don’t live the righteous (right living in Gods eyes) then you are heading toward death.

Romans 2
Vs. 1-3 Just because you are judging others doesn’t make it right for you to do wrong. God does not play favorites, you are either doing right or wrong.
You are not saved by just being a good person you have to believe, trust and faith in God.
Vs.17-24 don’t say one thing then do other. We are all guilty the law does not protect you, Faith in God does!
Vs.25-29 It is what is in the heart not what you do on the outside.

Romans 3
God knows so how dare us try and figure out the judging, let Him be the Judge. God is God He knows what He is doing.
God justifies us by faith , and grace, We still need to keep the law and be righteous and much as possible and God will take care of the rest.

Summed up
So basically what I received from this, is that we don’t live by the law anymore to save us. God sent His son to save us. We need to believe, have Faith and live righteous. We are not the judge of others God is the judge, He doesn’t play favorite so no worries put your faith in Him and see what He does with you! It will be exciting and a heck of a ride!
